Looking for a Specific Record?

For the Hudson records requested most often, begin with the source that holds the record:

Hudson municipal records and public-records requests: Town Clerk/Public Records Access Officer Joan M. Wordell, with secondary contact Jeff M. Malachowski, Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Phone: 978-568-9615. Fax: 978-562-8508. Email: jwordell@townofhudson.org or jmalachowski@townofhudson.org. Town Hall hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM; and Friday, 8:00 AM to noon.

Hudson accepts requests in person, by mail, fax, or email under the Massachusetts Public Records Law, MGL c.66 §10, subject to exemptions in MGL c.4 §7(26) and 950 CMR 32.00. The town uses a ten-business-day response framework. Electronic copies avoid a copying fee; paper copies, postage, and permitted labor costs may still apply. For deeds and plans, contact the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds; court files go to the Marlborough District Court clerk; property and mapping questions go to Hudson Assessors or GIS; historic collections are held by Hudson Public Library and the Hudson Historical Society.
